The Bella Vita Boat Club is honored to have
world-famous photographer, Adam Scull, as it's official event
photographer.
After accepting a golden parachute and early retirement from some of the most prestigious publications in the world, (as described below) Adam started his own business and now runs one of the leading premier websites for photographers to sell their photos to major publications all over the world. A fellow, boater, lifestyler, nudist and connoisseur of Bella Vita Babes, it was a very natural fit for Adam to be our photographer and the monitor of the Bella Vita Bulletin Board. One of the very special moments at Barbi's regattas are at nightfall when Bella Vita-Ville becomes a tropical drive in movie as all the partygoers stand watching from the backs of their boats to see Adam present a magnificent slide show under the stars of all the photos he's taken that day. Mere words cannot do justice to the atmosphere of watching his show! To arrange a personal photo shoot with Adam, contact him directly at PhotoDrop@aol.com |

Adam Scull started freelancing in New York
City in 1975, covering all facets of celebrities at parties, film
premieres, red-carpet and a touch of paparazzi mixed in with fashion shows
(and in New York, shooting the fashion collections is much more than just
a fashion show!) After the contentious newspaper strike of 1978, Adam was
hired on as a staff photographer at the New York Post, New York City's
leading tabloid newspaper that had just then been purchased by Fox TV's
Rupert Murdoch of Australia. Thus began Adam's deep and intensive learning
curve into the "art" of tabloid photography!
Originally, Adam was hired on as a general assignment photographer, shooting everything from news, spot news and features, heavily accented with mob shootings and rubouts. One day he was put on the celebrity beat, and he's never looked back.
Some of Adam's highlights include personal
photo sessions with Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor, Mick Jagger and
Jerry Hall, in addition to all the A list celebrities that lived and
traveled to New York. His daily coverage also included numerous broadway
shows, photographing the curtain-call and running backstage on the show's
opening night to snap pictures of the stars with all their visitors, and
what a list of visitors! Rex Harrison, Princess Fergie, Princess Diana,
Grace Kelly, the names ran the gamut of near-stratospheric levels, and
Adam was there to record it all!
In 1992, Adam left the New York Post to
look for new challenges. He moved to South Florida and became a photo
editor at the GLOBE tabloid magazine in Boca Raton for four years. During
his tenure at the GLOBE, he started PHOTOlink (http://www.photolink.net),
a celebrity photo agency specializing in film, tv, and music celebrities.
In August of 2000, he re-located his photo
agency to Miami Beach where, since 2003, he has obtained a deep attachment
to the sailing and boating world. He has worked his magic on a variety of
vessels, from small optis to sailing and power yachts. You can view his
sailing photography at

Adam is available for private photo shoots
at the regattas, so feel free to seek him out and work out an arrangement
